“It changed everything for me. I would watch the news reports that would say ‘this happened,’ and I’d think ‘that’s right.’ But here you become aware of the reality that is the state, and the atrocities of the government, the many many dead poor people, who only fight for justice, for their land, for their water, and their natural resources. You see that the government represses, murders and disappears its people.
